WELCOME:

Since Tiger Woods has become a household name, so has the game of golf. Any person, of any age, of any ability level, can enjoy the game of golf. Join us for this two day adaptive golf clinic that focuses on a person's ability, not his disability.

Day one Sonny Ackerman provides instructions and training to therapists such as RT's, PT's, OT's, and PGA Golf Professionals.

Day two therapists and PGA Golf Professionals practice their skills teaching adaptive golfing techniques to physically challenged individuals under the supervision of Sonny Ackerman.

The goal is to provide instruction to bring golf into clinical settings for successful utilization in the rehabilitation process, and to assist PGA Golf Professionals in providing instruction to those who are physically challenged. On day two, this clinic is free of charge for persons with physical disabilities.

The clinic offers 12 CEU's for therapists and 8 CEU's (4 per day) for PGA Golf Professionals as approved by the College of Health Sciences and the PGA.
